Kupang - After attending the 1st anniversary of Yonarhanud 9/AWJ and Yonarmed 20/155 GS/BY, the Military Commander (Pangdam) IX/Udayana Major General TNI Sonny Aprianto, S.E., M.M., continued the agenda of his working visit to review the progress of the construction of the Miniature Main Program for the Internship of the TNI AD Kodam IX / Udayana in the Korem 161 / Wira Sakti area, to be precise in Sumlili Village, West Kupang District, Kupang Regency, on Friday (19/05/2023).
Accompanied by Danrem 161/Wira Sakti Brigadier General Febriel Buyung Sikumbang, S.H., M.M., Pangdam IX/Udayana received a traditional welcome by wearing a hat and the typical Rote Ndao dance. Next, the Pangdam and his entourage headed to the transit room to receive an explanation from the Dandim 1604/Kupang.
After receiving a presentation from the Dandim 1604/Kupang about the Miniature of the Superior Program for the TNI AD Kodam IX/Udayana, the Pangdam IX/Udayana and their entourage then carried out a survey of RTLH houses, giving gifts to stunted children and providing Al-Qur'an and Al-Kitab assistance to Sumlili Village religious figure.
In his remarks, the Pangdam IX/Udayana said that the activity being carried out was a progress towards the construction of the Miniature Superior Program for the Indonesian Army Command IX/Udayana Internship in the Korem 161/Wira Sakti area, which was Mr Kasad's flagship program. The Regional Military Commander also conveyed the background behind initiating the Miniature of the Indonesian Armed Forces Military Command IX/Udayana's Leading Leading Program.
"We, the Regional Military Commander IX/Udayana together with the Danrem 161/Wira Sakti, came up with the idea to turn a Special Program for the Internship of the Indonesian Army into one miniature, in order to get a complete picture that if the Kasad Program is put together, it will be like in Sumlili Village," said the Pangdam IX/Udayana.
The Pangdam IX/Udayana further stated that the Main Program for the Internship of the Indonesian Armed Forces which was carried out in Sumlili Village included the construction of 45 units of RTLH Praja Raksaka Caring for the People, Food Security, Handling Stunting, Pancasila Village, application of the E-Praja Raksaka Application, Babinsa Enters Kitchen and the TNI Water Unity.
"We chose Sumlili Village because it is relatively close to Kupang City, where the condition of the people really needs help from all of us. We hope that what we are doing can benefit the community and provide stimulants for other parties to take part and actively participate in activities that touches the community directly," concluded the Pangdam IX/Udayana.
Also attending the event were Kasrem 161/Wira Sakti, Dandim 1604/Kupang, Head of Kasrem 161/Wira Sakti, Danka Balak Aju Kodam IX/Udayana, Forkopimda West Kupang District, as well as a number of other invitees. (Pendam IX/Udy)
